So our cover for UTSUBORA was approved by Ms Nakamura and her editors at Ohta Books!

Expect to see the full jacket in the coming weeks, but this is a first look at the front cover. According to the notes we received, Ms. Nakamura was struck by how the white background made the characters look like homunculi.

I have to say this was my favorite of the three designs we submitted. I agree, the white makes her skin really stand out. The eyes are also even more impressive as they provide the only bit of “color” to the image. And I love how you can really see Nakamura’s stroke-work in the hair now.

The back has more character art and the spine is kinda cool.
